Co - Founder

Rev. Dr. Brenda Thompson

  

Rev. Dr. Brenda Thompson is the Founder and Executive Director of Metamorphus Training Academy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities by connecting adults and children with vital resources. Under her leadership, the Academy offers free continuing education classes, GED programs for adults, youth tutoring services, and sponsors private schools to expand educational opportunities.

In addition to her nonprofit work, Dr. Thompson is a seasoned entrepreneur. She is the owner of Econo Energy Consultants, a hydrogeology consulting firm, and co-owner of Ronald O Rogers, Inc, a business consulting company that supports organizational growth and strategy. Dr. Thompson also serves as Administrator for 100 Black Men of Greater Orlando, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Through this role, she helps ensure that students graduating from the historic Jones High School who successfully complete the Project Success Programare awarded scholarships and receive continuous support throughout their undergraduate enrollment.

A woman of deep faith and service, Dr. Thompson is an ordained pastor and currently serves as Co-Pastor of St. Paul AME Church in Winter Garden, Florida. She has been instrumental in leading her congregation’s community outreach efforts, including launching the church’s weekly food drive in 2012 in partnership with Second Harvest Food Pantry. This program continues to provide essential support to families in need across Central Florida.

Dr. Thompson holds a Master’s degree in Law and a Ph.D. in Advanced Human Studies and Behavior, and General Human Behavior, reflecting her lifelong commitment to scholarship and leadership.

Beyond her professional and pastoral work, she is most proud of her role as a mother of two adult children and grandmother to three beloved grandchildren. She continues to dedicate her life to service, education, and faith, living out her mission to inspire and uplift others through every facet of her work.

Yolanda Merrill

  

Yolanda Merrill is a seasoned business professional and business owner of Top-Notch Printing. with a proven track record of helping entrepreneurs achieve success. Throughout her career, she has traveled nationwide assisting business owners in establishing their printing companies, boasting an impressive 100% success rate. Today, she leads a thriving printing company of her own that proudly services multiple schools, commercial companies, small businesses, and individuals. Her company offers a wide range of printing solutions including custom designs, billboards, business signage, banners, custom t-shirts, and many other personalized items tailored to meet both business and personal needs.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Yolanda is deeply committed to her family. She and her husband have shared more than 30 years of marriage, raising two well-educated and highly respected children who continue to make a positive impact in their community. Together, they cherish the joy of family life with their six beautiful grandchildren, with whom Yolanda enjoys spending much of her free time.

Beyond business and family, Yolanda is a dedicated philanthropist. She actively invests back into her community by donating uniforms, providing free lunches, and supporting the essential needs of both private and public schools. Her generosity and service reflect her belief in lifting others up and ensuring that children and families have access to the resources they need to thrive.

With her blend of education, entrepreneurial expertise, community leadership, and family values, Yolanda Merrill exemplifies what it means to be both a successful businesswoman and a compassionate servant leader.

Co - Founder

Helenikki Thompson (Nikki)

  

  

Helenikki Thompson is the Founder and Director of Master’s Training Academy K-12 Private Schoolin Altamonte Springs, Florida. Since opening the academy in 2016, she has dedicated her life to creating an innovative and nurturing environment where students can excel academically, artistically, and personally. Under her leadership, the school has grown into a respected institution that combines rigorous academics with unique enrichment programs such as music, arts, and after-school learning opportunities.

Nikki’s professional journey reflects her passion for service, education, and empowerment. She began her career as an accounts specialist with Hartman & Associates before advancing into leadership roles, including Office Manager at W.T. & Company and Licensed Mortgage Broker with Chiro & Company. In 2012, she became Vice President and Licensed Targeted Case Manager Trainer at ATM Targeted Case Management Company, where she trained professionals and guided organizational operations until founding her own school.

She holds multiple professional certifications and educational achievements: graduating as a Licensed Nail Technician in 1995, earning her Mortgage Broker license in 2006, becoming a Licensed Phlebotomistin 2009, becoming a certified Licensed Targeted Case Manager & Trainerin 2013, and becoming a Certified Behavioral Analyst in 2015. She later received her degree in Theology before being ordained as a Pastor in 2021. Nikki is currently enrolled at Seminole State College, pursuing a degree in Graphic Design—a reflection of her belief that continuing education is essential for personal and professional growth.

Beyond her professional and academic accomplishments, Nikki is a devoted mother of three wonderful children, whom she considers her greatest achievement. Her son is currently in medical school; her oldest daughter holds a degree in music and is pursuing a master’s in music therapy; and her youngest daughter, a high school senior graduating with the Class of 2026, plans to study skin care and hair while exploring a degree in chemistry to create natural beauty products.

For Nikki, being a mother, educator, and lifelong learner are deeply intertwined roles that shape her mission—to inspire others to pursue knowledge, purpose, and excellence in every area of life.

Kellee Hayes, MSW

    

Kellee Hayes is a woman shaped by resilience, faith, and an unwavering love for family. Growing up in a challenging and dysfunctional environment, she learned early the weight of loneliness and struggle—but those same experiences forged her strength, compassion, and determination to make a difference. What once felt like isolation became the foundation of her calling to serve others with empathy and purpose.

Determined to rise above her circumstances, Kellee pursued higher education and earned her Master’s in Social Work, MSW. Today, she is a dedicated advocate for individuals and families facing adversity, with a special focus on supporting the elderly population. Through her work, she ensures that their voices are heard, their needs are met, and their dignity is always protected.

For Kellee, family is the heart of everything she does. Being both a mother and a daughter keeps her grounded, while her professional journey allows her to extend that same care and compassion to others. Her life stands as a testament to transformation—proof that broken beginnings can lead to powerful and purposeful futures.

Within this sisterhood, Kellee brings authenticity, loyalty, and a deep passion for uplifting others. Her past taught her the value of connection, trust, and perseverance, and she believes every woman deserves a safe, supportive space to be seen, heard, and valued. Through the sorority, she strives to help build that very haven, living out the motto: “No sister left behind.”

Alongside her professional life, Kellee also embraces her creative side. She finds peace and joy in designing, crafting, and building with her hands—creative outlets that reflect her vibrant spirit and bring balance to her life. This creativity fuels her ability to inspire, innovate, and infuse every project and relationship with energy and purpose. 

Kellee is also the founder and CEO of Unchained Inspirations – By Kellee and the Co-founder of Elite Designs, Custom Made Shoes, Bracelets and More.

Temeka Calvin

      

Temeka Calvin is currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety at Columbia Southern University, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing her knowledge in workplace safety, healthcare compliance, and risk management.

With over five years of medical experience, Temeka serves as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with Heart and Vascular (full-time, two years) and a Pediatric ENT Medical Assistant (PRN) (three years). Prior to entering the healthcare field, she dedicated 13 years to hospitality with Hilton Worldwide, where she honed her expertise in customer service, leadership, and professional excellence.

Temeka has been happily married for 15 years and is the proud mother of four children, ages 19, 14, 11, and 6. Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, she enjoys traveling and singing, finding joy and balance through creativity and family experiences.


Director of Education

Mary Jane Brown-Soto

    

Mary Jane Brown-Soto brings to her endeavors a wealth of knowledge and insight shaped by both formal education and extensive professional experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, equipping her with a strong foundation in communication principles and media strategy, and a Master’s degree in Television Production, reflecting her advanced expertise in visual storytelling and content creation.

Throughout her distinguished career, Mary Jane has held pivotal roles across multiple industries. As Public Relations Director for PDVSA Petroleum Corporation, she skillfully navigated the complexities of corporate communication within the energy sector, fostering transparency and public trust. Her leadership in education as Vice-Principal of Master’s Training Academy highlights her dedication to mentoring and shaping the next generation of professionals. In addition, her experience in Administration and Human Resources at Joyner Cable Telecommunication underscores her versatility and ability to thrive in dynamic organizational environments.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Mary Jane treasures her personal life as a devoted wife, mother of two, and proud grandmother of two. Her career and family reflect a harmonious balance of ambition, compassion, and lifelong commitment to growth and excellence.


National Youth President

Jasz Thompson

  

Jasz Thompson is a dynamic, multi-talented educator, musician, and leader whose passion for the arts and youth development continues to inspire those around her. A proud graduate of Master’s Training Academy, Class of 2019, Jasz excelled academically, graduating with a 4.2 GPA and delivering a memorable valedictorian address to her peers.

Following her graduation, Jasz pursued her passion for music by majoring in the field and is currently enrolled at the University of Central Florida, where she is earning her second degree in Music Performance with a concentration in Jazz Studies. Dedicated to using her musical gifts to make a difference, she is also working toward becoming a certified music therapist, specializing in supporting children with learning exceptionalities through the power of sound, rhythm, and creative expression.

Professionally, Jasz serves as an elementary teacher at Master’s Training Academy, where she integrates her love for the arts into the classroom. Her students thrive academically and artistically as she teaches not only core subjects but also American Sign Language, music, dance, and performing arts—cultivating well-rounded, expressive young learners.

In addition to her teaching and academic pursuits, Jasz leads an active lifestyle. She is a trained MMA fighter and instructor at Breakin Point MMA, a part-time photographer, and a dedicated mentor to youth. Her diverse skills, discipline, and creativity make her a model of excellence and perseverance.

Today, Jasz proudly serves as the Youth President of Lambda Kappa Tau Sorority, Incorporated, overseeing the Little Lillies and Young Tenacity youth divisions. Through this role, she provides guidance, structure, and inspiration to young girls, empowering them to lead with confidence, compassion, and purpose.

A Christian, singer, educator, scholar, MMA fighter, and leader, Jasz Thompson is a true embodiment of balance, ambition, and service—leading by example and showing that with faith, dedication, and heart, anything is possible.
