Rev. Dr. Brenda Thompson is the Founder and Executive Director of Metamorphus Training Academy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities by connecting adults and children with vital resources. Under her leadership, the Academy offers free continuing education classes, GED programs for adults, youth tutoring services, and sponsors private schools to expand educational opportunities.
In addition to her nonprofit work, Dr. Thompson is a seasoned entrepreneur. She is the owner of Econo Energy Consultants, a hydrogeology consulting firm, and co-owner of Ronald O Rogers, Inc, a business consulting company that supports organizational growth and strategy. Dr. Thompson also serves as Administrator for 100 Black Men of Greater Orlando, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Through this role, she helps ensure that students graduating from the historic Jones High School who successfully complete the Project Success Programare awarded scholarships and receive continuous support throughout their undergraduate enrollment.
A woman of deep faith and service, Dr. Thompson is an ordained pastor and currently serves as Co-Pastor of St. Paul AME Church in Winter Garden, Florida. She has been instrumental in leading her congregation’s community outreach efforts, including launching the church’s weekly food drive in 2012 in partnership with Second Harvest Food Pantry. This program continues to provide essential support to families in need across Central Florida.
Dr. Thompson holds a Master’s degree in Law and a Ph.D. in Advanced Human Studies and Behavior, and General Human Behavior, reflecting her lifelong commitment to scholarship and leadership.
Beyond her professional and pastoral work, she is most proud of her role as a mother of two adult children and grandmother to three beloved grandchildren. She continues to dedicate her life to service, education, and faith, living out her mission to inspire and uplift others through every facet of her work.

Helenikki Thompson is the Founder and Director of Master’s Training Academy K-12 Private Schoolin Altamonte Springs, Florida. Since opening the academy in 2016, she has dedicated her life to creating an innovative and nurturing environment where students can excel academically, artistically, and personally. Under her leadership, the school has grown into a respected institution that combines rigorous academics with unique enrichment programs such as music, arts, and after-school learning opportunities.
Nikki’s professional journey reflects her passion for service, education, and empowerment. She began her career as an accounts specialist with Hartman & Associates before advancing into leadership roles, including Office Manager at W.T. & Company and Licensed Mortgage Broker with Chiro & Company. In 2012, she became Vice President and Licensed Targeted Case Manager Trainer at ATM Targeted Case Management Company, where she trained professionals and guided organizational operations until founding her own school.
She holds multiple professional certifications and educational achievements: graduating as a Licensed Nail Technician in 1995, earning her Mortgage Broker license in 2006, becoming a Licensed Phlebotomistin 2009, becoming a certified Licensed Targeted Case Manager & Trainerin 2013, and becoming a Certified Behavioral Analyst in 2015. She later received her degree in Theology before being ordained as a Pastor in 2021. Nikki is currently enrolled at Seminole State College, pursuing a degree in Graphic Design—a reflection of her belief that continuing education is essential for personal and professional growth.

Her son is currently in medical school; her oldest daughter holds a degree in music and is pursuing a master’s in music therapy; and her youngest daughter, a high school senior graduating with the Class of 2026, plans to study skin care and hair while exploring a degree in chemistry to create natural beauty products.

With over five years of medical experience, Temeka serves as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with Heart and Vascular (full-time, two years) and a Pediatric ENT Medical Assistant (PRN) (three years). Prior to entering the healthcare field, she dedicated 13 years to hospitality with Hilton Worldwide, where she honed her expertise in customer service, leadership, and professional excellence.
Temeka has been happily married for 15 years and is the proud mother of four children, ages 19, 14, 11, and 6. Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, she enjoys traveling and singing, finding joy and balance through creativity and family experiences.

Passionate about beauty and science, Sonny plans to attend Aveda in the summer to study hair and skincare. In the fall, she will further her education by majoring in Chemistry, combining her love for science with her personal experiences with eczema and allergies. Her goal is to create natural hair and skincare products for individuals with sensitive skin or allergic reactions, turning her challenges into a mission of care and innovation.
Beyond academics, Sonny is multi-talented and creative. She plays the electric guitar, crafts custom shoes, clothing, and accessories, and designs hair and skin products for cancer patients, blending artistry with compassion. After facing a major health challenge—being diagnosed with two heart conditions on her 17th birthday—Sonny used her recovery period to explore graphic design and digital editing, creating logos and projects for local businesses.
